Compactor are a band from New York that mixes industrial and noise with doom metal and this is a review of their self released 2012 album "Waste Product".
Drum programming are all slow militant beats bring an industrial and gabber sound to the music, while the song samples are taking from other songs in the various electronic music genres mixed in with some noise parts that also bring a doom metal edge to the music.
Vocals and songwriting are all absent from this recording with the music being all instrumental and experimental, while the song themes cover darkness, as for the production it has a very dark, raw and primitive sound to it.
In my opinion Compactor are a very great sounding hybrid of industrial, noise and doom and if you are a fan of this musical genre, you should check out this band. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "Vacant Theory" and "Real Horror". RECOMMENDED
